Basic concepts
- Business Junction is a membership network. After a maximum of 2 taster events, you need to join Business Junction to book and attend further events. Membership is an annual commitment and can be paid in one go or over 12 monthly instalments.
- Membership is for the business, not just an individual. Once you have set up your company membership, you can add as many subscribers from your company under your membership as you need. Anyone can then log on and book their event places. Company membership means your colleagues and employees can attend events and engage with the community.
- Members enjoy discounted member rates, and can invite non-member guests to any event, free of charge if it is their first event, subject to availability. Non-members will need to join after 2 visits.
- Members can also purchase pre-paid tickets as part of their membership package, redeemable by any user within that company. These pre-paid tickets are a convenient way to manage event attendance. You can view your available pre-paid tickets in your profile and use them when booking an event by selecting the appropriate ticket type.
- Joining: To become a member, you first need to create a user account and then add your company. The more details you provide about your company, the more you’ll benefit from the network.
- Adding subscribers: Other members can either sign up as a user and request to join your company, or your company admin can add them directly, or Business Junction can add them for you.
COMPANY PROFILES
As a member company, you get a dedicated profile page to showcase your business to the Business Junction community and beyond. This is your shop window, so make the most of it by filling in as many details as possible.
- Company Membership: Paying for a company membership means your employees can attend events and engage with the community.
- Profile Details: Beyond the usual company information like location, website, and contact details, we offer special sections in your profile:
- Member Offers: An optional area where you can post exclusive deals for Business Junction members. These offers are only visible to logged-in members, so make them special.
- Images: Alongside your logo, you can upload a featured image that represents your company. There’s also a background image section, similar to Facebook or LinkedIn, where you can upload a banner that reflects your brand. The dimensions are the same as LinkedIn’s header image (1584 by 396 pixels).
- Awards: If your company has won any awards, you can showcase them here.
- People: You can add team members to your company profile. As an admin, you have the ability to accept users who request to join your company. These users will be displayed on your profile page, emphasising the importance of the people behind the business.
EVENTS
- Non-Members: While non-members are welcome to attend events, they must pay the full rate. They can only sample our events twice without paying for a company subscription.
- Member Benefits: Once your company subscribes, you get the member rate on all events. Depending on your membership package, you may also receive some discounted pre-paid tickets. These tickets can be accessed through your dashboard and used by any user in your company.
- Using Pre-Paid Tickets: Pre-paid tickets can be redeemed at any time. For example, if your company has 10 tickets, 10 different members can attend a single event, or one member can attend 10 different events. When booking an event, the pre-paid ticket option will appear if tickets are available.
- Booking Multiple Attendees: When booking, simply select the number of attendees you need. Not all attendees need to be members of the site.
- Ticket Expiry: Pre-paid tickets do not expire unless your subscription ends. If you need assistance, contact our admin team.

PROMOTING TO THE COMMUNITY
We offer several ways to promote your company within the Business Junction community, alongside your listing and profile.
- Member Alerts: have been removed from the site for obvious security reasons, but this functionality still exists. Member alerts enables users to email EVERY member of Business Junction. If you have something you want to say to all members then please request this from the site admin, using this form.
- Adverts and Promotions: If you’re looking to reach our thousands of members and visitors each month, we offer paid promotional spaces on our homepage and on categorised listing pages. You choose which pages you would like to be featured on, what to say, what image and where your link should go. Talk to the admin team to promote your company.

Join as a company
Know how many pre-paid tickets are left
Your total amount of Free Tickets can be found by accessing your Dashboard -> My Account.
Use my pre-paid tickets
You can use your Free Tickets in Events. All users that have at least 1 free ticket will get an extra option when doing their booking called “pre-paid”. These type of tickets cost 1 Free Ticket per person.
Send a member alert
We have amended how Alerts operate but you can still email every member of Business Junction. You must get the site admin to do this for you so please get in touch with the admin team.
Join an existing company
Contact your company administrator to be added to your organisation’s list of members.
Add users to my company
First you must get your colleague to sign up as a user on the platform.
Then you as a company admin can add this user to your company, or they can request to join your company.
Go to your company profile, via your dashboard or by clicking edit on your company page. You should see the members panel. You can search for other users here and approve users who have requested to be part of your company – employees in other words.
Change who is coming to an event
You can edit your tickets by getting in touch with the admin team. Note the nearer to the event it is the less liely you will be able to edit.
Create an advertisement on the site
Our site-wide paid advertisements are now know as promotions. They can be targeted to specific pages (like the homepage) and towards specific sectors (for example to appear on all finance services listing pages). Please talk to the team about opportunities.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Can I use all my free tickets at once?
Yes you can. If you have 10 Free Tickets then 10 members of your company can come to one event. Or you can spread those 10 tickets over multiple events. You can of course pay for more tickets at discounted member rates.
Where are the member alerts?
Member alerts is a function where members can email all other members of Business Junction. This does still exist but is controlled by the site admin. Got something you need to say? Please get in touch with the admin team.
Is there a limit on members who can join a company?
No! As many people as you like. Or just one.
I am a "one man band", do I still need to add a company?
Yes you do. The company listing is the way we list members. Think of the company as your Limited Company. You as the user are a member of that company.
How can I cancel or amend my event tickets?

What happens when a user leaves a company?
The admin of a company can choose who is a member of that company. Access your company from your dashboard and look for the members section. Remove users from here and search for other users to add them.
Do you offer referrals
Yes. When new users sign up to events or as companies we ask if that user has been referred by someone. We here at Business Junction like people to recommend other people, so we will add coupons for free event tickets to referrers. This is at our discretion.
What happens if I cancel my company subscription?
If your company subscription ends or you cancel, all the users in your company will need to pay the full rate for event tickets.
Your company profile will stay intact but functionality will be hidden so you cannot edit it.
You can restart your subscription at any time.

Your Free Tickets will remain valid even if you’re company has expired or if the subscription has been cancelled.
Can I change my company subscription
No you cannot. If you do need to add more tickets or need to pay in a different way, please get in touch with the admins.
Can I pay in a different way
Yes. You can pay for event tickets and for subscriptions via invoice. This has to be discussed and actioned manually, so please get in touch with the admins.
